Janet G. Lazar has practiced trusts and estates law for over 30 years. She has worked for several firms, large and small, in New York and New Jersey. She also served as principal law clerk to Judge Renee R. Roth of the New York County Surrogate's Court. Ms. Lazar received her JD degree from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1979. She then studied taxation at the graduate level at New York University School of Law. Her undergraduate degree is from Princeton University, where she majored in English literature and minored in music.
Ms. Lazar is also principal attorney of Janet G Lazar LLC (West Orange, New Jersey and New York, New York) and is also Of Counsel to Scarola Malone & Zubatov, LLP (New York, New York).
